This 1997 Pete Dye designed course is situated on 200 acres of rolling terrain with lush Bermuda fairways that sweep through natural contours producing breathtaking views. The course has been rated in the top 200 places to play in North America by Golf Digest with 4 stars, and is ranked as one of the top ten courses in Kentucky. Only the first two holes feature water hazards, but the course is well represented by sand and it will challenge golfers of any skill level.
The clubhouse features a pro shop, snack bar, and a large banquet room which seats up to 144 people. Practice facilities include a targeted grass driving range and a large practice green. Villas are fully furnished with 2 bedrooms (4 double beds), 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, patio with grill, and a washer and dryer. Directions:
From Lexington: Take Hwy 27 South (Nicholasville Road) until you cross the Kentucky River. Take a right onto Hwy 1845 (first right at top of the hill) and follow until it dead ends. Take a left and go .1 of a mile to stop sign. Turn right and go .1 of a mile and you will see a Peninsula sign on the left indicating a left turn. Turn left and follow this road to the course.
